REVEAL & RESTORE YOUR RADIANCE WITH ERBIUM: GLASS-LASER SKIN REJUVENATION TREATMENT

Skin rejuvenation with Erbium: Glass-Laser treatments improves tone, texture and radiance for ageing, sun damaged or scarred skin. The Erbium: Glass-Laser treatment is for people who want to look younger without dramatic changes or extended downtime.

Who is suited for this treatment?

Erbium: Glass-Laser skin rejuvenation effectively treats:

  • Fine lines & wrinkles like crow’s feet and brow lines
  • Surface scarring – helping to erase effects of acne and other scarring
  • Pigmentation – diminishing the appearance of age spots
  • Sun damage– helps to improve the appearance of sun damaged skin.

How does it work?

Erbium: Glass-Laser treatment for skin rejuvenation is the pioneer of “fractional photothermolysis,” a technology in which thousands of microscopic laser columns – each just one-tenth the diameter of a hair follicle – treat a fraction of the skin at a time without affecting the surrounding tissue. These microscopic laser columns penetrate deep into the dermis to create tiny wounds, which trigger your body’s natural response system to heal those wounds. This process expedites your body’s remodelling of collagen and elastin, which results in tighter, fresher, more youthful-looking skin.

How long does each treatment take?

First, your skin will be cleansed and analysed. Then a topical anaesthetic ointment will be applied to the treatment area for about 60 minutes for numbing to take effect. The Erbium: Glass-Laser re:store procedure takes approximately 20-25 minutes for a full face.

Should I expect any downtime?

Most patients describe an increased sensation of heat during the treatment. To minimize discomfort, topical anaesthesia is applied before the procedure and cold air is used on the treatment area during the procedure. After the treatment, most patients feel like they have a sunburn, which usually diminishes in 1 to 3 hours.

What precautions should I take after the treatment?

Wear a broad spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher, avoid direct sun exposure for at least 3 months after your last treatment, and wear a wide-brimmed hat when you’re in the sun.

What results should I expect?

  • Smoother, fresher, younger-looking skin
  • Improved tone and texture
  • Reduction of unwanted brown spots
  • Reduced fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes
  • Improved appearance of acne scars and surgical scars

How many treatments will I need?

Clinical studies suggest that on average, an effective treatment regimen is 3 to 5 sessions spaced about 2 to 4 weeks apart.
